Throughout my career, I have been interested in the essence of color. Of course, in my earlier days, color was more of a tool for presenting an image. At this point in my journey as a painter, I am increasingly focused on the color itself.
I use tempera techniques to bring out the pulsating essence of each pigment in the paint. Painting with emulsion paints that dry brighter is like a conversation between the author and the work. Some of my emotional pleasure decides the completion of the work. The author is the first seer. However, the work becomes real in the audience’s encounter. Art has always been a part of community, of human existence.
